Pre-Purchase Bike Fit
A lot of people ask me about my bike. But it’s their own bike they’re really interested in. They want to know whether I think this bike or another bike is right for them. I strongly recommend everyone get a pre-purchase bike fit before purchasing a bike. A pre-purchase bike fit from a cycle-physio will save you a lot of money, time and heart break in the long run. I do not recommend you to buy any bike without having a good idea of what your stack and reach recommendations are. A pre-purchase bike fit will give you this information.
My Bike & What It Can Do?
My Bike & What It Can Do
I ride a Canyon Endurace Road Bike (Carbon) with a Shimano Ultegra 6800 Di2 Groupset. Crankset is 50-34. Cassette is 11 Speed CS R8000 32t rear. Wheels are presently DT SWISS Wheelset PR 1400 DICUT Oxic Clincher (which I do not recommend). Tyres are Continental Grand Prix 4000s II 28mm.
My bike can do pretty much everything. I’ve ridden it in Australia and Europe (Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Sweden). It can handle hills, cities, crit racing, commuting and even food courier work. It cannot (on these tyres) handle snow and ice well, but I have done it. Road bikes are a lot more versatile than what people imagine. If I would swap it for anything else it would be a gravel road bike.
